At The Original Chair Company we pride ourselves on the high quality of our leather furniture. It is made to the highest and most exacting standards, using only the very best of British and European hides. All our furniture is hand made by dedicated and expert craftsmen. We use solid hardwood frames made from the finest seasoned timber for maximum rigidity. Leather is not only a wonderful medium for our craftsmen to work with, it is also a superbly versatile and strong material which helps to create furniture that transcends time and fashion. The leather on our furniture will not only mature with age but will also improve. In essence, when it comes to hand-made sofas and chairs you will find none better than The Original Chair Company. Our display is a small selection of what we have available. If there is another style or colour you are interested in please ask us. We offer both antique and plain hides and have three different grades of leather in a range of colours; swatches are available upon request. We also have various qualities of seat cushion fillings, including high density foam, fibre and feather.
